Selena Gomez got married to Benny Blanco on September 27, 2025, in Santa Barbara, wearing a classic, and unique wedding dress. Selena announced her wedding ceremony in her Instagram post, wearing three separate dresses all created by Ralph Lauren, bringing back the elegant romance into wedding dresses.

Ralph Lauren particularly picks who he decides to work with, and it’s amazing to see Selena bringing light to his work. Selena shares 3 silhouettes for her wedding ceremony. In her first dress, she is wearing a white silk textile halter dress that extends into a beautiful train. The drapery is impressive as it folds on the top, extending to the back of the dress. This wedding dress is the perfect way to bring back simplicity to wedding dresses as it highlights the bride’s features and complements her body as the dress is not so distracting. There is also a flower in the middle of her neck similar to her first dress.

In her second dress, we see a similar silhouette made, but instead of silk, with lace. The corsetry design is magnificent. In one of Selenas’ pictures, there is a unique detail in her dress that has the embroidery of Gomez’s and Blanco’s initials “S + B” in the dress. There is a small band around her neck that includes a beautiful floral pattern that does show throughout the rest of the dress. Her vail falls behind her similar to the train feature in her first dress.

In her final dress, we see her reception dress as she dances with Blanco. It’s an off-the-shoulder knee knee-length flowy dress that reminds fans of her on Disney Channel and viewers on TikTok of an old Hollywood/Disney feel. This picture specifically has an aesthetic of Marilyn Monroe as presented at W.Magazine.com. In her photos, she truly looked like a Disney Princess as her husband, Benny Blanco, posted as a caption on their Instagram photos saying, “I married a real-life Disney Princess”.

This dress is white with nothing else to add to it. These silhouettes can be the start of leaving overly detailed wedding dresses behind.

Selena wears her own makeup line, Rare Beauty, a cruelty and vegan free brand, at her very own ceremony. Her face is flawless, and it goes magnificently well with all the dresses presented.

Selena is also wearing Tiffany and Co. drop earrings in numerous photos we see on Instagram. The phycology behind the simplicity of wedding dresses is to highlight the bride and her features as much as possible; the photographs really show that as Selenas personality is shining through. The designs are breathtaking and as her fans say “magical”.

Ralph Lauren has done it again with his design being absolutely amazing and detailed.
