A Collection by Andreas Kronthaler

In Milan, Italy, at the Cafe Bar Rivoili near San Babila, Vivienne Westwood debuted their first Spring-Summer ’26 Menswear collection on the runway since 2017!
Titled ‘Colzaione de Andreas’ or Breakfast at Andreas, the central figure of VOGUE had a non-traditional take on men’s fashion, with ‘formality vs. archive’ meant to be both nostalgic and rebellious.

This edgy collection played into the ideas of ‘gender blurring’, featuring heeled platform boots that are a statement of the brand. Midnight blue jackets with large lapels, coffee brown flowing workpants, and bold pops of color like electric greens, vibrant red, and striking oranges created an atmosphere that was eccentric for their return.

The use of playful drapery in their silhouettes and wild textures was apparent, with garments made from faux fur to python print. Joining these animal prints were florals and photo-printed pieces that were nothing but eye-catching! Bold statement jewelry with expressions such as ‘TRUTH’, ‘SEX’, ‘FAITH’, and ‘CHAOS’ was dauntless and on-brand.

This comeback for Vivienne Westwood in Men’s fashion was truly an exciting sight, with some pieces being more conventional than others. The navy blue, crème beige, and deep forest green shades were popular in the garments, emanating their trendy business style. Trench coats, pleated high-rise pants, and other form-fitting garments with unique cutouts made for a fashion-forward and new look.
This collection just goes to show that, “You have a more interesting life if you wear impressive clothes.” -Vivienne Westwood.
